win it wednesday giveaway - oops! it's TUESDAY!! january 22nd, 2013 - the lovely smith
welcome back to the DDH giveaways! yes, we know it's not wednesday, but we are trying out the hugely popular "rafflecopter" for our giveaways this year, so we were hoping you guys would help us test it out by entering to win a pair of Lovely Smith sterling silver open heart earrings like the ones in the photo above! because this is a beta test giveaway, it will only run until january 27th, 2013 - so it only gives you a few days to enter!!!!!! this giveaway is open to US and Canada, so tell everyone you know!
all you have to do is enter via the rafflecopter widget below and give feedback in the comments section of this post. if it works relatively glitch-free, we will use it for all of our subsequent giveaways! thanks to everyone for being our test subjects!!!!!

I kind of like the new giveaway style. Much simpler than posting 20 comments of I did this and this and this in order to get each entry. Only suggestion I have is that you shouldn't have to sign up for daily dose newsletter or there should be a "I'm already subscribed" option. I already get your newsletter but had to sign up again to get to the other possible entries.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, lovely work from the lovely smith!
Those earrings are so cool. I entered the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI think I got my address wrong in the last 'thing to do' - my address is darcyrobb216@gmail.com. What I mean is, I DO follow The Lovely Smith's blog, but when I wrote it in the Rafflecopter widget, I got it wrong. Hope I didn't mess up my chances to WIN !!

Great, I love the fact that is simpler than other ones.
ReplyDeleteThank you
I LOVE Rafflecopter! I love that it keeps track of what I've done (including daily entries like Tweeting) and that it's easy to see how many entries I have. Also I like that you can tell if the giveaway is still open at a glance- no more figuring out if a blog is using East Coast time or not.
ReplyDeleteI always prefer rafflecopter!! I need to tell you though, the tweet is not for this giveaway....it's for a necklace w/a different artisan....didn't realize it til I tweeted! I also took the point since I did tweet

I'm not a fan of rafflecopter. And I beleive I was required to subscribe (again) to the daily dose newsletter to enter in that category.
ReplyDeleteLove rafflecopter! Makes it so easy!!!
ReplyDeleteI entered the giveaway, and using Rafflecopter was pretty easy. Had to do some back and forth between screens to get all the info in. I also agree with the comments above about having an "I'm already subscribed" option for the newsletter section. Using a new system just takes a bit of getting used to.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see the rafflecopter form on your blog. I've also used it for my own giveaways and I think it's great and easy to use.
ReplyDeleteLovely earrings :)
This is a better method than comment after comment.
