Sunday Guest Blogger - Etsy Contest

Fellow Etsy addict spacefem launched a new project this year: The Daily Etsy Contest. Every day, hundreds of items from etsy are pitted against each other two at a time for voters to pick their favorites. On the first day of the month, they vote on $1 items. On the second day, $2 items. On April 26th, it'll be $26 items.



The best part is that if you've got an etsy shop, you can sign up for free, pick a day to compete, and join in the fun! Thousands of votes are submitted every day so you're guaranteed a few views, and publicity from winning or even just placing doesn't hurt either!


If you're a shopper looking for deals you can search for the best items by price, or browse coupon codes that signed up shops are offering contest voters.


To mix things up, each Thursday the items are chosen by a theme instead of price. Past themes have brought in items with stripes, bikes, recycled items and unicorns. On Tuesdays the items have similar colors, and on Swanky Sunday we break from the price limits and pull expensive stuff that none of us could practically afford, but it's gorgeous to look at!
